Settings

Open Settings from the menu at the bottom of the main screen. This page lists the iPhone settings first, then what is different on Android.

Account​

  • Sign in with Apple: keeps your entries in your account so they survive a new phone or a reinstall. Without signing in they are saved to an anonymous account, which the phone can lose track of, and then there is no way to reach them again.
  • Apple Health: connect to write your logged symptoms to Health.
  • Sign Out and Delete Account appear once you are signed in. Deleting the account removes the data on the phone and the sign-in. If you want your server-side data erased as well, email hello@pressurepal.app.

Notifications​

Pressure alerts, daily summary and quiet hours. See Notifications.

Tracking​

  • Quick Log: show or hide the red lightning button and choose which symptom it logs. See Symptom Journaling.
  • Chart Timeframe: show 1, 2 or 3 days on the chart at once. The default is 2 days.
  • Days Indication: the dots under the week days, either Color (red rise, blue drop) or Alarm (dashed dot on days that match your alert settings). See Main Screen.

Units​

  • Pressure unit: millibars (mbar), kilopascals (kPa), inches of mercury (inHg) or millimetres of mercury (mmHg). Millibars and hectopascals (hPa) are the same number. You can also tap the pressure number on the main screen to switch.
  • Temperature: Celsius or Fahrenheit.
  • Time format: 24-hour or AM/PM. This applies to the chart, the daily summary text and the alerts.
  • Language: 24 languages. By default the app follows the phone language.

Appearance​

  • Theme: Auto (follows the phone), Light or Dark.
  • App Icon: three icons to choose from.

Subscription​

  • Enter Offer Code: redeem a code we sent you. See Subscription and Billing.
  • Your subscription itself is managed in the iPhone Settings app under your name > Subscriptions.

About​

Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and the app version. Include the version number when you report a bug.

Android differences​

The Android version has the same units, temperature, time format (default 24-hour), language, theme, chart timeframe and notification settings, plus Rate us and Ask a question shortcuts.

  • Sign in is with Google instead of Apple. Delete Account is in the account card.
  • There is no Quick Log setting, Days Indication setting or app icon picker.
  • Restore Purchases is on the plan screen, which opens when you tap any locked day. Subscriptions are managed in the Google Play app.
