Subscription and Billing
Plans
Pressure Pal offers a yearly plan, a monthly plan and a one-time lifetime purchase. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial the first time you subscribe. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and differ by country.
All plans unlock the same features: the full week ahead on the chart, past days and all recorded data, PDF and CSV reports, other locations on iPhone, and the Apple Watch chart. What is free and what is paid is listed on the About page.
Payment is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card details.
Free trial
The trial runs for 7 days. If you do not cancel before it ends, Apple or Google charges the yearly plan automatically. Cancelling during the trial keeps the paid features until the trial ends and costs nothing. The trial is available once per Apple ID or Google account. If you subscribed before, the plan is offered without a trial.
Cancelling
Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.
iPhone
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Pressure Pal, then Cancel Subscription.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Android
- Open the Google Play app.
- Tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Pressure Pal, then Cancel subscription.
Refunds
Refunds are issued by Apple or Google, not by us, because they process the payment.
- iPhone: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase, find Pressure Pal and choose Request a refund.
- Android: follow Google's refund page.
If your request is turned down and you think it should not have been, write to hello@pressurepal.app and we will help.
Restoring a purchase
If you reinstalled the app or moved to a new phone and it shows the free version:
- Make sure you are signed in to the App Store or Google Play with the same account that bought the subscription.
- In the app, open any locked feature (for example tap a day next week on the chart). On the plan screen tap Restore Purchases.
- If you see "Nothing to restore", the store account is not the one that paid. Switch accounts and try again.
The app asks me to subscribe but I already pay
- Close the app completely and open it again. It re-checks your subscription every time it comes to the foreground.
- Confirm the subscription is active: iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or Google Play > Subscriptions.
- Use Restore Purchases as described above.
- If it still shows the free version: sign in with Apple (or Google on Android) in Settings so your entries are backed up, wait a few minutes, then delete and reinstall the app and restore again.
If none of that works, email hello@pressurepal.app with the email you used in the app and a screenshot of the subscription page, and we will look at it.
Switching plans
- Between monthly and yearly: pick the other plan on the plan screen. Apple and Google switch you at the end of the current period, so you are not charged twice.
- To the lifetime purchase: lifetime is a separate one-time purchase, so cancel the subscription first (see above) and then buy lifetime in the app. If you recently paid for a year, write to us before buying and we will find a fair way to do it.
Offer codes
If we gave you an offer code, redeem it on iPhone under Settings > Enter Offer Code inside the app, or open the redeem link we sent you. The app checks your purchases again right after.
Keeping your data
Your entries are stored in your account, not in the subscription. If you cancel, you keep everything you logged and can still add new entries. You just lose access to past days and reports until you subscribe again. To make sure your data survives a new phone, sign in with Apple (iPhone) or Google (Android) in Settings.
